How long have you been in business?
TF Forming Systems has been in business for over 25 years manufacturing Vertical Insulated Concrete Forms.
What is your primary product or service?
We manufacture Vertical Insulated Concrete Forms for the construction industry; residential, commercial, multi-unit family complexes, churches, swimming pools, etc.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The creator of TF's product was Mr. Gerald Spude. Mr. Spude is a third generation concrete mason, working in the trade since he was a boy. His substantial experience with concrete forming systems and first generation Insulated Concrete Form “ICF” products gave him first-hand practical knowledge of their limitations. This knowledge enabled him to conceive of a better way, the vertical way, and Mr. Spude invented and patented the vertical ICF design.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Once a contractor has used our Vertical ICF system over the more traditional methods of building, they see how easy our system is to install and how they can create buildings that are energy efficient, safe, durable, and environmentally sustainable all while saving on their precious construction time frame. Our vertical system overcomes many of the hardships that builders face with other systems by being able to do tall wall pouring, no taping or gluing, and our connection points are our strongest points in the wall. Builders looking for LEED requirements are able to obtain LEED points with our system that would otherwise be difficult to obtain.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have our main location in Green Bay, Wisconsin with an additional office in Missouri. Our expansion comes from construction experts wanting to expand into the energy efficient sector of building. We have installers around the country that use our TF Forming System Vertical Insulated Concrete Forms.
Which areas do you service?
We are an international company who is able to work with any construction company, architect, home owner around the world.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Rich Mortlock is the company's COO.
What are your hours of operation?
Our core hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment comes from those of our installation partners when they tell us how much easier and better our system is to install than other ICF manufacturers products. We also pride ourselves on our customer service.
